la victoria de mi destino

Victory my destiny - This is what the title says.
Well, to be honest I don't know Spanish. I just used Google Translate to get this.

Today I am feeling so elated. Spain won the match against Portugal. Woohoo!!!
Many of my friends were not supporting Spain and they were pretty sure Spain will lose the game. Anyway, they won and proved my friends wrong. The first thought that came to my mind when Spain won was to write a few rhyming lines to express my feelings.

This is what I came up with.

Spain Spain Spain
Your hard work did not go in vain
Portugal is now in pain
I wish you win again

Black and White

Jamshetji Nusserwanji Tata

He is known as the "Father of Indian Industry". Jamshedpur, also known as Tatanagar, (my hometown) is also named after him.
This sketch was drawn by me when I was in the 8th grade. This sketch is inspired by the statue of J.N. Tata at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India.

Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa

Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was a famous mystic and was a powerfull figure in Bengali and Hindu Renaissance. Swami Vivekananda was his chief disciple. Both their teachings made a great impact on many Indians and are still followed to this day.

Mother Teresa

This portrait of Mother Teresa was drawn by me when I was in the 9th grade. I think I drew this without seeing the picture while drawing and is one of my favorite.
Well, She will always be remembered by all for her selfless work of helping the poor, sick and orphans.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

I used to be a big fan of Aishwarya Rai back then. Sadly, I don't like her that much anymore but this sketch is really one of my favorite.

Let the tender hands lift the pen

A child is but a sapling,
That does bear a wing.
He's full of dreams,
He makes his dream come true
By his fingers new.
The immature mind and his soft arm
Needs care so he can be away from harm.
To grow saving his tension,
Through the scholastic mission.
Thus, let him be in school with a proper attire
To unfurl fully his heart's desire.
